Google Material Icons
It's only been 3 days since our last update and now we are ready to introduce a new plugin for Joomla Page Builder Gridbox. Ladies and Gentlemen, please welcome - Icons.
Plugin icons, we planned to release one of the first. But we could not find the desired icon library for Gridbox. Yes of course, we could take as a basis - Font Awesome Icons, but we wanted something more modern and fresh.
One morning we found a Material Design Iconic Font. We were very impressed! We immediately realized that this is exactly what we were looking for.
Material Design Iconic Font is a full suite of official Google material design icons (created and maintained by Google), with additional community-designed icons and brands icons for easy scalable vector graphics on websites or desktop.
Plugin Options
We added a wide range of options, from the icon size, color, and background color to the ability to add links in icons. We recommend you to watch the video below where you can see the basic options of the Gridbox plugin - Icons.

Icon Selection Modal
The most important feature of which we are proud - icon selection modal. Typically, find the icon in the library, it's an incredible headache because you can see hundreds of Icons and they are very small.
We have made the process of choosing icons as comfortable as possible. Icons are quite large, so you can easily find the required icon in the list.
And of course, we added the ability to search icons by name! Incredibly convenient, fast and easy - Gridbox.
Adding Icons to Buttons
We also updated the plugin "Button", added additional options in order to allow to add an icon into a button.
Adding Icons to Text
In order to allow you to add an icon to the text, we have added a new option in the text plugin - Icon. you can open a window with a list of existing icons and select the necessary icon.
We would like to note, the icons style (color and size) comes directly from the text style. For example, if the icon is added to the paragraph, icon color and size will be the same as paragraph have.
Conclusion
As I mentioned earlier, that icons are an integral part of any modern website. We've added the ability to add icons into Gridbox, a sufficient number of options allow you to give a unique look to your icons. Also, the ability to add icons in the text or in the button will allow you to make your site more appealing.
