Joomla Gallery provides different overlay effects with a beautiful animations. Content in an image caption can be customized to fit your website design.
Option Image Width and Height allows you to set the max. value for image cropping. Default value is 300px. If you plan to reduce number of columns to 3, we recommend to increase this option to 600px.
Option Image Quality allows to reduce or increase thumbnails quality. By reducing the Image Quality you can improve gallery speed loading. We not recommend to set more than 80%, because it's can slowdown page speed loading. Find the best between quality and speed.
Options Width and Height and Image Quality directly affect on the Gallery speed loading.
If your content width is 1170px and you have gallery with 4 columns, no reason to set "Width and Height" more than 300px. You need to find the optimal value. If you have Gallery with 2 columns layout, we recommend to set thumbnails "Width and Height" no more than 600px. Simple mathematics!
To change the number of columns, click on the button "Settings". Click on tab "Thumbnail" >> "General" >> Change Number of columns.
Gallery allows you to set specific number of columns for specific devices.
If you want to increase or decrease the spacing between thumbnails, click on the button "Settings". Click on tab "Thumbnail". Change value of option "Item Spacing, px".
Gallery allows you to display Image information on thumbnail - Image Caption. Image Caption include next fields:
1. Click on the button "Settings";
2. In the modal window click on the tab "Thumbnail";
3. Enable option "Disable Caption".

3.Click on the option "Caption Effect" and Select one of available effects from the list.
Balbooa Joomla Gallery include 12 Beautiful Caption Effects.
NOTE: Caption effect 12 "Caption below Thumbnails" is available only for Masonry Grid Layout.

How to change style of Caption Overlay Background.
1. Open Gallery "Settings";
2. Select the "Thumbnails" >> "Caption" ;
3. Click on the option "Caption Bg"
How to change style of Caption Typography.
1. Open Gallery "Settings";
2. Select the "Thumbnails" >> "Typography" ;
3. Use all available options to style Caption.
