How to set up email notifications in Balbooa Joomla Forms?




After setting up email notifications you'll be able to get emails whenever you receive a response from your Balbooa Joomla Forms.


Email Notifications can be set up in the Submit Button settings.




Admin email notifications


Admin email notifications is a notification that will be sent to the site administrator or to the email addresses that you will add.


  1. Enable Send to Admin.
  2. Add email addresses and press Enter.
  3. Enter the email subject.




Customer email notifications


Customer email notification is a notification that will be sent to form submitter.


  1. Enable Send to Customer.
  2. Add the email subject (supports Data Tags).
  3. Add a thank you message (supports Data Tags).




From email


The From Email setting determines which email will be listed as the sender within the notification.


  • Default is the admin email address automatically retrieved from global settings.
  • Customer Email is an email address entered by the sender in the form.




Attaching uploaded files


Use the switch button to attach uploaded files to email notifications.




Troubleshooting


The administrator does not receive emails after form submitting


  • Be sure that the email system in Global configurations is configured correctly.
  • Be sure that your form includes the field Input with the type Email.
  • Check the Spam folder.
