How to set conditional logic fields in Joomla forms?




Conditional logic allows automatically to show or hide fields and skip pages in Balbooa Joomla Forms Builder, based on visitor answers. Add Conditional Logic and create more personalized forms by letting users skip irrelevant fields and pages.




Adding conditional logic


Click the icon Conditional Logic in the left sidebar.


Conditions

Field

Select a field from the dropdown list.

State

Select one of the field states:


  • Filled Out
  • Not Filled Out
  • Equal To
  • Not Equal To
  • Greater Than
  • Less Than
  • Contains
  • Does Not Contain

Value

Select or add value.

Add New Condition

Adds a new condition.

Delete Condition

Deletes a condition.

All or Any

Select All or Any (All - default value).


Actions

Action

Select one of the actions:


  • Show Field
  • Hide Field
  • Move to Page

Field or Page

Select one of the fields or pages from the dropdown list.

Add New Action

Adds a new action.

Delete Action

Deletes an action.




Managing conditional logic rule


Conditional Logic may be deleted or edited at any time.

Rules

Add

Click the button Add New Rule.

Copy

Select a rule(s) and click the icon Copy Item.

Unpublish

Select a rule(s) and click the icon Unpublish Item.

Delete

Select a rule(s) and click the icon Delete Item.

Rename

Click on a rule title and rename it.
