How to set up default SEO settings in Joomla website builder Gridbox?
Joomla website builder Gridbox comes with the Default SEO Settings option that allows you to set default values for meta titles, meta descriptions, social media, sitemap and schema markup. This tutorial will show you how to speed up and simplify the process of creating and editing meta titles and meta descriptions for all pages and categories using Default SEO Settings.
- By entering SEO values in the item settings, these values will override the Default SEO Settings
Customizing default SEO settings
1. In the Gridbox admin panel navigate to the Item Settings (Page or Category Settings) ➝ the SEO tab.
2. Enter values using Data Tags.
Available Gridbox Data Tags
Each Gridbox App has its unique Data Tags. To insert Data Tag click the Data Tags icon.
General
Site Name
Inserts the site name from the Global Joomla Configuration.
Category
Category Title
Inserts the category title that you previously entered.
Category Image URL
Inserts the URL of the image that you have assigned to the category.
Category Page URL
Inserts the URL of the category page.
Category Description
Inserts the category description that you previously entered.
Page
Page Title
Inserts the page title that you previously entered.
Page Image
Inserts the image that you have assigned to the page.
Page URL
Inserts the URL of the page.
Start Publishing
Inserts the date and time the item was published.
Date Modified
Inserts the date when the page was changed.
Blog App
Category Title
Inserts the category title to which the item relates.
Page Tags
Inserts the tags assigned to the item.
Author
Inserts the item's author.
Intro Text
Inserts the item's intro text.
Zero App
Field Name
Inserts a field you created.
Store App
Store Name
Inserts the store name from General Info of Store Settings.
Store Legal Business Name
Inserts the store's legal business name from General Info of Store Settings.
Store Phone
Inserts the store phone from Contact Info of Store Settings.
Store Email
Inserts the store email from Contact Info of Store Settings.
Store Address
Inserts the store address from Contact Info of Store Settings (Country, State/Province, Street Address, City, ZIP Code).
