How to create and manage categories in the Gridbox Portfolio App for Joomla?
Joomla website builder Gridbox comes with a built-in Portfolio App that allows you to organize and structure your projects by creating categories. In the Gridbox Portfolio App, you can create unlimited categories and subcategories.
- Make sure that you have installed the Gridbox Portfolio App
Creating a portfolio category
To create a new category click the button + Category.
To create a subcategory, select the parent category ➝ click the button + Category.
Category settings
To open category settings, right mouse click on the category title ➝ select Settings in the context menu.
Managing portfolio categories
The Gridbox allows you to reorder and delete categories in the Portfolio App for Joomla CMS.
Order of categories
Use drag & drop to change the order of categories within one level.
Use the feature Move To to place a category into another existing category. Right mouse click on the category title ➝ select Move To... in the context menu.
Deleting categories
Right mouse click on the category title ➝ select Delete in the context menu.
- By deleting a category, you also delete all projects within the category. Deleted portfolio categories cannot be restored
