How to create and manage categories in the Gridbox Hotel Rooms App?
Joomla website builder Gridbox comes with a built-in Hotel Rooms App that allows you to organize and structure your hotel website by creating categories. In the Gridbox Hotel Rooms App, you can create unlimited categories and subcategories to provide your visitors with the best Joomla hotel site navigation.
- Make sure that you have installed the Gridbox Hotel Rooms App
Creating a category
To create a new category click the button + Category.
To create a subcategory, select the parent category ➝ click the button + Category.
Category settings
To open category settings, right mouse click on the category title ➝ select Settings in the context menu.
Managing hotel site categories
The Gridbox allows you to reorder and delete categories in the Hotel Room App for Joomla CMS.
Order of categories
Use drag & drop to change the order of categories within one level.
Use the feature Move To to place a category into another existing category. Right mouse click on the category title ➝ select Move To... in the context menu.
Deleting categories
Right mouse click on the category title ➝ select Delete in the context menu.
- By deleting a category, you also delete all hotel rooms within the category. Deleted hotel categories cannot be restored
