How to set up tax in Joomla eCommerce for Gridbox?
This tutorial explains how to set up taxes in Joomla eCommerce for Gridbox. You'll learn how to easily set different tax rates for countries, states, and product categories.
In the Gridbox dashboard, mouse over the icon Store ➝ Taxes.
Adding a new tax
Click Add New Item to add a new tax and fill out all the fields.
General
Title
Adds the title of the tax.
Tax Rate
Sets the value of the tax rate in %.
Location
Adds country, state, region, etc.
Category
Adds categories that will be assign entered tax rate.
Tax on Shipping
Enables a tax on shipping.
Tax mode
To change the tax mode, go to Taxes Settings ➝ select Tax Inclusive or Tax Exclusive.
- To display tax depending on the country selected by the user, add a field with the type Country to the Customer Info plugin on the Checkout page.
