How to set up shipping regions in Joomla eCommerce for Gridbox?
Gridbox Store App allows you to add and restrict the regions where your products will be shipped. A shipping location in Joomla eCommerce for Gridbox is a group of countries or regions that have the same shipping rates. Follow this tutorial to create or restrict shipping locations in the Joomla online shop.
There are two types of delivery locations available in the Gridbox Store App:
- Available Locations — countries and regions where the selected shipping method is available
- Restricted Locations — countries and regions where the selected shipping method is restricted
- Available Postcodes — limits the shipping method to specific postcodes, postcode ranges, or postcode patterns entered by the store owner.
Postcode formats supported:
- 61000 — applies the shipping method only to this exact postcode
- 61* — applies to all postcodes that start with 61
- FK44* — supports alphanumeric postcodes starting with FK44
- 61000-62480 — applies to all postcodes within the specified range.
Adding shipping locations
Click the icon Add New Item ➝ select a location from the list ➝ click the Save button.
