How to set up shipping in Gridbox Store App?
Gridbox Store App for Joomla eCommerce allows you to quickly add and set up multiple shipping methods with different est delivery times for different geographic locations and various parameters. In this tutorial, we're going to show you how to set up shipping in Gridbox Store App.
General settings
General shipping settings have fields that available for each type of shipping method:
- Type - dropdown with shipping types
- Title - a text field for the name of the shipping method
- Estimated Delivery Time - a field for setting the order delivery time
- Description - a text editor for entering additional shipping info
Title, Estimated Delivery Time, Description is what customers will see when placing an order.
Shipping options
Shipping settings have different options that depend on the selected shipping type. More information about the options you'll find in the settings of each shipping type:
- Store Pickup
- Free Shipping
- Flat Rate
- Rate by Price
- Rate by Weight Range
- Rate per Weight Unit
- Rate per Product
- Rate per Category
Shipping regions
Shipping regions in the Gridbox Store App have two types — Available and Restricted. For more information see the documentation:
Order shipping
Use Drag & Drop to move items. Sort items by drag and drop allow you to place shipping methods in the order you need. Changes in the placement of shipping methods will be displayed on the frontend.
