How to set up promo codes in Joomla eCommerce for Gridbox?
Joomla eCommerce for Gridbox comes with intuitive promo code settings that make it easy to set up and manage discount coupons. Just enter the number of times a code can be used, set date limitations, and products or categories to which the discount can be applied. Action description of each field you will find below.
General
Title
Adds the name of the promo code.
* This title displays in the Promo Codes tab in the Gridbox dashboard.
Coupon Code
Adds the promo code.
* Promo code that customers should enter to get a discount.
Discount Type
Sets the type of discount (Amount or Percentage).
Discount Amount
Sets the value of the discount.
Applies To
Sets where the discount will apply:
- All Products - applies to all products
- Category - applies to each product in the selected categories
- Product - applies to specific products
- Shipping - applies to specific shipping.
* Click the icon Add New Item and use the search field to choose categories or products that you want to set the discount for.
Restrictions
Usage Limit
Limits the number of uses.
* Enter the number of times the promo code can be used.
Access
A group of users with a specific access level who can use the promo code.
Disable For Discount Products
Disables promo code for discount products.
* This means that it will not be possible to use a promotional code for products that already have a discount price.
Disable for Change Plan
Disables the promo code for subscription plan changes.
* Enable this option to prevent the promo code from being used when changing a subscription plan.
Disable for Renewal
Disables the promo code for subscription renewals.
* Enable this option to prevent the promo code from being used for subscription renewals.
Start Publishing
Sets the start date of the promo code.
End Publishing
Sets the end date of the promo code.
