How to customize Joomla order settings in Gridbox?




Order settings allow you to configure the structure and format of generated order numbers in Joomla eCommerce for Gridbox.



To open Order Settings, go to Store ➝ Orders ➝ Settings.




Editing the Order number format


Order Number Format in Joomla eCommerce for Gridbox allows you to customize how order numbers are generated. The format can include a prefix, start number, and suffix. 


  • Prefix — adds a custom text value at the beginning of the order number. For example, if you set the prefix as ORD-, the order number will look like ORD-1001.
  • Start Number — defines the initial value for generated order numbers. All new orders will continue numbering sequentially, starting from the specified value.
  • Suffix — adds a custom text value at the end of the order number. For example, if you set the suffix as -GB, the order number will look like 1001-GB.
