We are using a Simple Gallery custom field in a Zero App with Source = Desktop. Images uploaded through this field are stored in /components/com_gridbox/assets/uploads/app-X/, but they appear to bypass the global Media Manager image optimization settings (resize, quality and Convert to WebP).
Is there a way to automatically resize/compress and convert images uploaded through the Simple Gallery custom field, in the same way as images uploaded through Gridbox Media Manager?
Our use case is a school website where multiple frontend editors upload photo galleries directly from their computers/phones, so giving them access to Media Manager is not desirable.
