Smart Search Plugin Generates Incorrect SEF URLs for Gridbox Blog Posts

Hi Balbooa team,
I am using Gridbox with Joomla Smart Search (com_finder) and the Gridbox Finder plugin. There is a routing issue with blog posts.

When Smart Search indexes posts from my Gridbox Blog App, it returns the wrong SEF URL. For example, the correct URL to a post is:

https://nativeplantecosystems.com/blog/what-are-the-best-pollinators

but Smart Search shows this URL instead:

https://nativeplantecosystems.com/what-are-the-best-pollinators

So the “/blog/” part is missing.

From what I can see, the Finder plugin is registering posts using:

index.php?option=com_gridbox&view=page&id=XX

Because there is no Itemid attached, Joomla’s router cannot associate the post with the Blog menu item (view=blog), so it falls back to the site root and produces the incorrect SEF URL.

Could you please update the Gridbox Finder plugin so it generates SEF URLs using the Blog menu item as context? For example:

index.php?option=com_gridbox&view=page&id=XX&Itemid=YOUR_BLOG_ITEMID

and then passing this through JRoute, so Smart Search always outputs the correct SEF URL:

/blog/post-alias

This update would ensure Smart Search links correctly to Gridbox blog posts.
