We are currently using Gridbox as our main website builder, and we appreciate the flexibility and visual design capabilities it offers. However, we’ve encountered a critical issue with the built-in search engine regarding Traditional Chinese keyword support.
Problem:
When users enter 3-character Traditional Chinese search terms, the search engine often returns no results, even though the content clearly exists on the page. For exa
Additional Observations:
This issue does not occur with longer strings (e.g., 4 characters or more).
It affects content created entirely with Gridbox, including blog posts and custom items.
This limitation seriously impacts search usability for Chinese-speaking users.
Request:
Could you please look into improving the Gridbox search system's handling of non-Latin languages, especially CJK languages (Chinese, Japanese, Korean)? Ideally, the search function should support 2 or 3-character keywords in Traditional Chinese without requiring a space between characters.
We truly love using Gridbox and would love to see it become more accessible for international and multilingual audiences.
