So in the application box element when you switch it to list there is no option to modify the height between the list items. Furthermore, there is no possibility to adjust the icon distance. (With icon distance we are not talking about the padding on the icon element we are talking about the distance between the icon and the heading/description, there is no option to set this!)
Further improvements to this element would be to allow custom colours for each icon to be set. Allow for adding borders to the title and description and not the entire element alone. Allow for custom colours for background for each item.
And before anyone comes out with use negative margin for the description, this will not work since the elements that come after will go over the description text so we really need to adjust the height between elements, which we use custom code for but would be better if it was just a setting.

PS: Attached an image what is impossible to create with the application box element currently but with the asked improvements this would be super easy to do. We know we can also do this with nested rows, columns, icon element, heading element and the text element, but that would add a ton of DOM structure while the application box element is already there for 90%.
