From time to time, empty orders occur in our store. That is, the customer places an order, and the order is empty, with a value of 0.
The last such situation occurred today. The customer placed such an order, but the interesting thing is that it is not another order by id, but from the middle of the numbering. Attached is the screenshot. However, the customer could not have had it in the basket earlier - because she only found out today about the possibility of placing an order online. It is worth noting that the numbering visible on the screenshot does not use the entire id in sequence either. Nothing was deleted or canceled. I am afraid that other orders of this type will be sitting somewhere in the system - and situations may repeat :(
What is the cause - what can be done about it?
