i cannot update BAForms on my Joomla website

I cannot update BAForms on my Joomla website. I need to update the BaForms from 2.2.0.1 to 2.4.3.1. However I get the error

"Failed to extract file: option_com_licenseactivations_task_baforms.update"

I need to be able to update the BAForms plugin, so I can then update my Joomla version to 5.4.7 (currently on 5.3.3)
