Partly due to the vulnerability in the Balbooa extensions announced today, I am looking into whether I can create something that immediately checks if a new version is available.
When I access your update feed URL, I do get the latest version back correctly in my browser. However, apparently, it cannot be read by automated programs, because I get an error back instead of the latest version.
Couldn't you create a manifest, like many Joomla extensions have, containing an XML file that is readable just like with almost all other extensions?
I need this for BaForms and BaGallery )Joomla).
