Although the Joomla Website Builder Gridbox has 3 icon libraries (Outline, Material and Font Awesome icons) that you can already use on your Joomla sites. Sometimes you might want to add your own custom icon. Fortunately, with the Gridbox you can quickly and without additional efforts upload custom icons to Joomla. Custom icons will attract attention and originality to your Joomla site.
In this short tutorial, we will show you how to upload custom icons to Joomla Website Builder Gridbox.
Here are few free icon font generators that allow you to convert SVG icons to Webfont icons:
Click on the “Icon” field in plugin settings. In the modal window of Gridbox Icons Library, navigate to the "Custom Font Icons" tab and click on the "Upload Custom Icons" icon.
In the opened modal window enter a unique title, select a single ZIP archive with webfont icons and click the “Save” button.
The Gridbox provides two ways of deleting custom icons: delete by groups and specific icons.
To delete specific icons select them and click on the icon “Delete”.
Enable a checkbox next to the group title and click on the icon "Delete" to delete uploaded icons groups.
