In this tutorial we’ll show you how to get a Google Maps API key in five simple and easy-to-follow steps.
Note: To generate a Google Maps API Key you must be signed into a Google account.
1. Go to the Google Maps APIs.
2. Click "Get A Key" button in the right top corner.
- If you want to use an existing project, select it from the list.
- Or else, select "Create a New Project" and enter a project name.
3. Click on the "Next" button.
4. Copy the generated your API Key from the popup.
5. Paste your Google Maps JavaScript API to the relevant field of the Gridbox plugin Google Maps.
