Adding Digital Products To Gridbox Store App

The Gridbox Store App allows you to sell ebooks, audiobooks, web elements, music, templates, and so on by adding digital products of any format. After purchasing a digital product customers receive an email with the link to download the file. This tutorial explains how to add digital products to the Gridbox Store App.

Adding Digital Products

1. In the Gridbox dashboard mouseover on the icon Apps ➝ Store.

2. Click on the button "+ Category" to create a new category.

3. Click the button “Add New Item” ➝ select the type “Digital Product”.

4. Fill in product details.

Basic Digital Product Details

In the right sidebar add basic digital product details:

• Intro Image;
• Product Title;
• Alias;
• Intro Text;
• Category;
• Tags.

Pricing and Inventory

In the Pricing and Inventory group fields you can enter the following digital product details:

• Regular Price (product price);
• Sale Price (discount price that makes the so-called strikethrough prices or cross-out prices at the frontend);
• SKU (Stock Keeping Unit - a unique identifier for each product).

Product Badges

Click the button “Add New Item” to add the product badge. Also, you can add multiple badges to the digital product. To reorder badges use drag and drop. See the documentation for more information:

Setting Up Digital Products

• Upload Product File - allows adding a file of any format (WAV, MP3, .doc, .pdf, .gif, .zip, etc).
• Download Link Expires - allows setting the lifetime of the download link (hours, days, months, years).
• Maximum Downloads - allows setting a download limit.

To find digital products in search results, add meta tags and set up social sharing.

Click the icon "SEO"/"Sharing" at the top right ➝ fill in the fields.
