Parallax and Dot Navigation
Today we are happy to introduce you a new version of the Joomla websie builder Gridbox. Gridbox 2.2.1 includes new features such as: parallax on scroll, dot navigation style for one page menu and it’s not all. And of course, we care about quality, we fixed bugs that were found during the last week.
Parallax Scrolling Effect
Friends, we know how you waited for this option and today we are happy to present - now you have the opportunity to create incredibly beautiful Parallax Scrolling Backgrounds.
But most importantly, the Parallax Scrolling Effect you can add not only to the background of the section but also Parallax Scrolling Effect you can add to the background of the row and column. So you can create unimaginable Parallax effects.

Parallax Scrolling Effect you can find in the background options for Section, Row and Column. Enable Parallax and from the dropdown list select "Scroll".
Dot Navigation
Dot Navigation with Tooltips it's a very modern type of navigation, looks awesome on all websites! Joomla website builder Gridbox 2.2.1 allows you to add Dot Navigation without a line of code.
Gridbox dot navigation it's a type of the Gridbox one page menu. We recommend you to watch the video below to see how to configure Gridbox dot navigation.
As you can see on the screen below, to enable dot navigation, you need to open settings of the Plugin "One Page Menu" and from the dropdown list "Type" select "side navigation".
Create Page Blocks
With Gridbox 2.2.1 you will be able to create your own page blocks. In fact, we added the ability to upload preview pictures for library items. So you can create your own library of page blocks.
To add a preview picture for the page block, you need to add a section or Gridbox plugin to the Library. In the model window, enter a name and select a picture for your page block.
We recommend uploading pictures with a size of 480 x 315 pixels.
You can always re-upload the preview picture for the page block. To do this, open your library and click on the "Camera" icon, in the opened window of the Gridbox Media Manager, select a new picture for your page block.
Upload Theme Thumbnail
Joomla website builder Gridbox 2.2.1 allows uploading your own thumbnail for the theme. This is a very simple but very useful feature.
To upload your own thumbnail for the Theme, open Theme Settings (Right Click ➝ Settings), click on the field "Picture" and in the Media Manager, select a new picture for your theme.
