Create Engaging Photos

If you just started building websites with Gridbox, we want to inform you that Gridbox includes a built-in Photo Editor which allows you to resize, compress, rotate and flip pictures. We decided to move forward and have added new features to the Gridbox photo editor - the ability to add pre-installed photo filters or (and) additionally adjust the color palette manually. Using these tools you can adjust photos on your website in one-color style.

Photo Filters

In the Gridbox Photo Editor, you can find a new tab "Filter and Effects". 20 filters are available, using which you can adjust your images and make them more attractive.

In order to apply the selected style, do not forget to click the "Apply" button.

Adjust Colors Manually

Improve your image style with manual adjustments. You can change the following parameters: Contrast, Brightness, Saturate, Sepia, Grayscale and Blur.

Re-Order Blog Posts

By default, Gridbox orders blog posts based on the date and time that they were published. To change the order of the posts you need to change the post dates manually.

Today we want to introduce a new way to re-order blog posts - the custom order which allows you to re-order posts by simply dragging and dropping them in the admin panel.

First, you need to re-order posts in the admin panel. For that enable Drag and Drop ordering in the admin panel and sort them as you need.

After that, you need to visit a category layout editor, open category list settings and select "Sort by - Custom".

As you can see on the screen above, posts you can order and by "Popular", the most viewed posts.

What's Next?

It’s time to back to the Gridbox Blogging App. It would be a series of small updates with new features and improvements dedicated to the Blogging App. And the main word is "Simplification" - writing blog posts and configuring blog layouts - should be easier, faster and user-friendly.
