Today we are happy to introduce the Joomla website builder Gridbox 2.5.7. In the previous update, we have improved Gridbox core, to provide the best editor performance. Since the editor's core code was rewritten, this update includes important bugs fixing. But we can’t release the update without any new features. Gridbox 2.5.7 includes the brand new plugin Post Slider, Featured Posts and new Search Results page waiting for you in this update!
Search Results Page
In Gridbox 2.5.7 Search Results page presented as a standalone page. The Search results page is not a part of the plugin "Search" anymore. This is a strategic and important step!
The Search Results page editor can be found in the System Pages.
The Search results page comes with all Gridbox’s standard page features. You can use all the power and flexibility of the Gridbox. Create new sections with columns, backgrounds, gradients, plugins, everything is available for you!
Search Results Headline
The Search results headline it's a simple plugin that allows you to configure headline typography and label.
Search Results
The plugin Search Results allows presenting the search results in an attractive way. 4 layouts, tons of options allow you to configure search results easily and visually.

Post Slider Plugin
The Post Slider plugin is a nice choice if you want to display Gridbox blog posts in a more attractive way. The Post Slider plugin combines Recent Posts, Slideshow, and Carousel plugins.
Post Slider comes with 2 view types - Slideshow and Carousel.
At the same time, the “Carousel” layout comes with "Card" and "Cover" caption layouts.
Each of the layouts has a large number of options that will allow you to configure the plugin to fit your needs.
Post Slider plugin includes a wide range of sorting options, you can display: recent, most popular, custom, random and featured posts from the Gridbox Blogging App.
Featured Posts
Sometimes we need to display specific blog posts on the Home Page or any other page. For that, we have added a new option "Featured Posts" which allows you to mark specific posts as featured and display them in plugins "Recent Posts" and "Post Slider".
Mark Posts as Featured Posts
In order to mark the post as featured, visit the Gridbox admin panel, hover on the post and click on the icon “Star”.
Displaying the Featured Posts
In the Gridbox, featured posts can be displayed in the plugins Recent Posts and Post Slider. Open plugin settings and mark the option "Featured". After that in a plugin will be displayed only marked blog posts.
