Balbooa Joomla Gallery 2.1.0 Released

Today we are happy to present you a new version of the Balbooa Joomla Gallery - 2.1.0. We fixed bugs, but also, we added a lot of new features with which you can create a stunning Joomla gallery.

One of the most anticipated features is the ability to edit the album's layout. Ladies and gentlemen, we are happy to inform you with Balbooa Joomla Gallery 2.1.0 you have complete control over the layout of the album.

In the gallery settings, you can see the new tab Album, in which you will find a large number of options, with which you can create a unique layout for your albums.

Available Options:

• Change the layout of the album, you can choose from six layouts (justified, Masonry, Metro, Grid, Tile, Square)
• Change the number of columns, and spacing between columns
• Set the quality of the thumbnails of the albums
• Change the caption, 13 different captions are available, and also you can change the style of Caption
• Change Font Settings: Color, Weight, Size, Alignment

Stand out from hundreds of other sites, surprise your visitors! Balbooa Joomla Gallery 2.1.0 allows you to display an album in the Lightbox. Looks very impressive!

To enable the display of albums in a lightbox, in the gallery settings, click the Albums tab and select Show album in a lightbox at the very bottom.

As you know, when viewing pictures in the gallery, the user sees the original pictures. Typically, to optimize the speed of the display of images in the lightbox, it was necessary to take care of the pictures and at least compress them using Photoshop or another photo editing software. 

But now, it's all in the past! With Balbooa Joomla Gallery 2.1.0 you can upload pictures directly from your camera, leave the image optimization for the Gallery.

To enable image optimization in a lightbox, go to the tab Lightbox  ➝  Compression  ➝  Enable. You need to specify the maximum image size in pixels and the quality. That's all!

Now you don't need to waste your time optimizing hundreds of pictures, the gallery will care about your pictures!

Very often on our support forum, Gallery users asked about this option - the ability to replace the picture in a lightbox. Friends, now you will have such an opportunity, without customizing the code.

To replace the picture in the lightbox you need to open the picture options and click on the Alternative Image field and in the opened "Media Manager" select the picture. That's all, everything is very easy and simple!

We added a very simple, but very useful option - the ability to include Full Screen Mode when viewing images of your gallery.

In order to activate Full Screen Mode, you need just to click on the icon Full Screen.

Do you want to add your own unique style to the thumbnail? no problems! Add Class Suffix and write your own CSS.
